I started my career in 2000 at Loyens Loeff as an international tax lawyer advising HNWI.
In 2010, the new Sirius Legal office was set up together with Bart Van Den Brande . Within Sirius Legal I have been able to develop myself further in other matters then Tax. In doing so a developed a practice in Rael estate law and real estate finance. Further within the development of Sirius Legal we have always been at the fore front of innovation of law (practice).
Currently I’m heading the Legal Tech department at Sirius Legal, together with Bart Van Den Brande, researching and working on blockchain, crypto and ICO’s.
I am a regular speaker on Blockchain and cryptocurrency, I spoke lately at the IE Business School in Madrid.
Since 2018 I have been appointed by BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions as Legal and Tax expert, I am researching and developing for BNP Paribas a possible platform, blockchain based to introduce Smart contracts as the new standard for leasing contracts, as well as introducing AI in the standardization of contracts.
In March 2019 I have been appointed as arbitrator in the Polish Arbitration Court for Blockchain and New Technology.
